Partnership with Children will host its annual Spring Gala on June 4, 2015 at Three Sixty° in New York City.
Mark Dowley, Chief Strategy Officer at MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated and Chairman of DDCD & Partners, and Marianne Gambelli, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Horizon Media, will be honored for their career and community leadership and the Anne Vanderbilt Award for Achievement will be presented to Board member Kenneth Mortenson for his distinguished service.
Chaired by Linda Boff, Executive Director, Global Brand Marketing at GE. Mel Berning, President and Chief Revenue Officer of A+E Networks, Ronald O. Perlman, President and CEO of MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated, and Shari Post, Vice President, Primetime Ad Sales, at NBCUniversal, are event co-chairs. Lead sponsors include Marty and David Hamamoto, NorthStar Realty Finance Corp., BBDO, GE, Horizon Media, OMD, Turner Broadcasting and Viacom Media Networks.
Nearly 500 of New York City’s corporate and social leaders are expected to attend in support of Partnership with Children, which works with New York City’s highest need schools to ensure that every student can succeed, despite the stress of growing up in poverty. Partnership with Children currently works with more than 50 public schools to serve 17,000 youth throughout all five boroughs of New York City.
A highlight of the evening will be a performance by Herve Alexandre, a New York City saxophonist and four-time winner of the Apollo Amateur Award, and his quartet.
