Description
Txikifest is bringing the Basque country to NYC once again! We're celebrating spring the Basque way: out on the streets with txakoli, street food, and revelry with our nearest and dearest.
Event Details
For the uninitiated: Txakoli is a fresh, effervescent wine enjoyed throughout the Basque country and the new vintage is en route! We'll be pouring it alongside whole hog barbecue and sides from our kitchen as well as our friends from Casa Pública and La Newyorkina. This year all proceeds will benefit Esperanza NY: a non-profit alternative to incarceration program that works to create a safe and productive response to the challenges and needs of court-involved youth in New York City.
We are also asking for your generosity to help the restaurant community affected by the explosion in Durham, NC. The folks at these restaurants have supported Txikifest year after year, and it's our turn to support them in their time of need.
Remember: All attendees must present ID showing they are over 21 to receive a wristband for alcoholic beverages. Refunds will not be given to those who fail to present ID. And as always, please drink responsibly.
