Event Details
For the last seven years, Hester Street Fair has been a proud partner and launchpad of many amazing businesses on the Lower East Side and in the greater New York. To celebrate small businesses everywhere, we are hosting our second annual “We Started Here” fair and Lower East Side Block Party. On August 17th, visitors can eat, shop, and interact with their favorite local businesses. We are thrilled to be part of this thriving community and invite you to join us in this celebration!

What To Eat
Beba’s Kitchen - Our weekly and highly favored couple is with us again with their most popular empanadas.
D’Lissh - An array of magical-looking cupcakes that are all made from scratch with high quality ingredients.
Tata Mischa Bakery - When you walk through the fair and hear the old-timey french music, that’s coming from Tata’s booth! Try her natural desserts and feel free to go overboard on the sweets this weekend.
Que Chevere - Returning yet again to feed us some authentic Puerto Rican dishes. Normally a catering service, Mike Chevere brought his food out to the open public for the very first time at Hester Street Fair this year for our 2019 Test Kitchen competition, and he ended up winning first place! See what got him the title for Best Overall Dish.

212 Closet - Pins, patches, and stickers that are heart to heart with New York City and made in collaboration with local artists to create something unique. Our fair is where 212 first sold their product ever in person and began connecting face to face with their customers.
Dash of Pep - A splash of happiness is made anytime Robin comes to our fair. Find illustrated apparel, accessories, and stationery promoting mental health, empowerment, and self-expression.
Kat Mama - Accessories that encapsulating nature in resin. Creating objects with botanicals and gemstones into wearable art, we’re the only place you’ll find Anna’s handmade beautiful jewelry.
