Gramatik taking over New York's Terminal 5 for NYE with guests Big Wild, Ramzoid & Cobrayama!

Event Details

New Year’s Eve is fast approaching and for everybody who plan on spending it in New York City, here’s an idea of where to get your party on. After 2016’s NYE extravaganza with Bassnectar in Alabama, this year Gramatik plans on taking his home crowd from the five boroughs on a musical journey to remember. And he’s bringing a hell of a line-up to make the night that bit of extra special.

After working tirelessly all year on a bunch of new music and making stops at some of the biggest summer festivals, Gramatik will spend the months leading up to the event touring all over Europe in support of his latest release, “Re:Coil Part I” (out on October 20th via Lowtemp Records). The Re:Coil Tour pays homage to the legendary mad scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla and his efforts to make the world just a little bit nicer. As an outspoken advocate for rational thought, the new EP finds Slovenian-born producer embracing the scientific/technological themes on almost every track and evolving the sound he became famous for even further, yet still managing to include a clear nod to his beatmaking roots. With almost 30 shows on the touring schedule for October and November you know he’ll be in top form for the longest night of the year.

And there’s at least three more reasons why TERMINAL 5 is the place to be when the clock strikes midnight on December 31st as the evening will see a number of incredible artists joining the expedition into the world of beats, bass and big drops. Big Wild of the Foreign Family Collective fame needs no special introduction ever since he caught the attention of Odesza back in 2015 - the 2017 EP “The Invincible” and subsequent huge US tour earned him praise from some of the top names in the game. Similar buzz is surrounding one of the most unique young producers out there. Ramzoid worked with Gramatik on the excellent remix of Flume’s track “Wall Fuck” while also putting out a number of hard-hitting originals this year, and is just about ready to take the world by storm. Last but not least, the versatile DJ and producer Cobrayama (ex member of Exmag) will undoubtedly get the party started with his vast
