Feel The Magic on the Dance floor while the Master of Disco Soul takes you on a Journey to the beginnings of NYC Nightlife Culture
Nicky Siano was dancing in Manhattan clubs at 15, and by the age of 17 was resident and co-owner of the hottest club in New York: ‘The Gallery’. He mentored Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan, worked in the studio with Arthur Russell, and is one of a handful of DJ's who started the dance music scene in New York.
Not only did he inspire such clubs as The Garage & Studio 54, but he also launched the careers of Grace Jones, & Loleatta Holloway amongst others.
He also famously worked the DJ booth at Bianca Jagger’s infamous Studio 54 Birthday Party. It was no coincidence that when Steve Rubelle opened Studio 54 he chose Nicky as one of the two Original Resident DJs.
