Event Details

In this initial reading session, hear the works of today’s emerging composers in an open rehearsal with American Composers Orchestra members and artistic staff. You will get an immersive view into what happens when an ensemble sits down to read a new work for the first time. Guest Conductor Ludovic Morlot (Music Director of The Seattle Symphony), Artistic Director Derek Bermel, and composer mentors Tania Leon and Anthony Cheung will be on hand to facilitate the process and navigate the ins and outs of the first reading with ACO.
The rehearsal is free and open to the public, but you do need to reserve a ticket.
