Led by Glory Edim of Well-Read Black Girl, this edition of Storytelling Saturdays is an experiential workshop designed to introduce the concepts of self-care and wellness through literature.
Event Details
Participants will be guided through a literary meditation of Sister Love: The Letters of Audre Lorde and Pat Parker 1974–1989. Through group letter writing, meditation, and reviewing the foundations of self-preservation, attendees will collectively experience Audre Lorde and Pat Parker. Centering radical approaches to storytelling, programs in this series may take the form of writing workshops, zine-making workshops, or live oral histories led by members of our creative community.
