Let's make memories at Open Mic Poetry Slam open to all BIPOC artist in New York City! Come to support local creatives, read a piece, and get inspired!
Event Details
BIPOC Poetry Night presents our first ever poetry slam. In honor of Valentines day we are putting on an open love poetry slam. Two rounds, 15 slots (sign up at the door first come first serve), top 4 artist from the first round will be promoted to the final round. Three judges will be randomly selected from the audience so come early!
Winner gets $20 and free admission to our next event!
FIRST TIME PREFORMERS ARE ENCOURAGED!
Doors open at 7:30, the show will begin at 8:00.
There will be vendors! The café will also be selling drinks. There will also be a poetry chapbook about love for sale.
TICKETS ARE $15 AT THE DOOR WITH AN RSVP, $20 WITHOUT
CASH ONLY
Tickets come with a $10 voucher to the café to be used during the event!
RSVP guarantees you entrance to the event, if we are at the venue capacity and you have not rsvp'd you may be denied entry.
