Crompton Ale House

Samuel Crompton, an English inventor and pioneer of the spinning industry, successfully invented the spinning mule in 1779. The creation of a machine that simultaneously drew out and gave the final twisting to the cotton fibers that fed into it, reproducing mechanically the actions of hand spinning, permitted large-scale manufacture of high-quality thread and yarn, and revolutionized the garment industry worldwide.

Using the inspiration and drive of Crompton himself, the founders of Crompton Ale House have created a rustic and upscale dining experience located in the heart of the fashion district in NYC that gives guests a high-quality and revolutionary experience. Come visit our unique establishment for delicious sliders, chicken, crab cakes and more. We have 34 beers on tap, as well as an extensive cocktail and wine menu.
