NYC's first Beefsteak dates back to the 1800s. As the Museum of the City of New York recounts, they were "initially all-male gatherings in rustic taverns or dingy cellars where sitting on crates, men would sing, tell stories, eat steaks, and drink ale.

Fifth Annual Beefsteak Dinner

Gather your companions and savor this New York tradition!

Friday, February 21st

7:00 pm – Doors Open

7:30 pm – Dinner Begins

11:00 pm - Event Ends

NYC's first Beefsteak dates back to the 1800s. As the Museum of the City of New York recounts, they were "initially all-male gatherings in rustic taverns or dingy cellars where, sitting on crates or stools, men would sing, tell stories, eat steaks, and drink ale with abandon."

While our Beefsteak Dinner isn't in a dingy cellar (nor all-male!), you can expect to experience similar celebratory-energy, as tables come together over steaks and ale!

Menu: A meat-centric menu with savory sides, free-flowing Black Dirt Distillery bourbon & craft beer from Threes Brewing. Bring your own wine with free corkage, too! Detailed menu available here.

Attire & Other Details: At traditional Beefsteaks, no knives or forks were allowed as participants ate tender morsels of beef steak, wiping the grease on aprons. We'll have some utensils on hand, but encourage keeping with tradition. We'll also provide each guest their own apron so you can dress up for the occasion and not worry about digging in!

Tickets: Available through Eventbrite. All sales are final.

Entertainment: Brother Dave, playing the Blues.
