Description

New Yorkers Billy Gilroy (Employees Only, Macao Trading Co., Lucky Strike, Match), Patrick Fahey (Macao Trading Co., Naked Lunch, Peggy Sue’s), and Vincent Vitek (principal bartender Employees Only) have teamed up to commandeer the corner of Church and Walker in Tribeca with Belle Reve. A much needed neighborhood joint with easy food all day and boozy soirées. The vibe is comfortable and the design comprised of cool, eclectic collectibles, art, and music that you’d find walking in the living rooms of New Yorkers with lifetimes of tales to tell. In this day of hyper-conceptualized restaurants, the 3 have boiled down their combined century of experience in the hospitality business to “Make yourself at home.” With no "A" tables and egomania, narcissism and snobbery is neither encouraged nor tolerated. Belle Reve is a port of call for friends & families to enjoy quality meals, a simple soup & sandwich, or as the sun sets to knock back pints, sip a whiskey, and join in songs. Belle Reve is a place to find a friend, connect in conversation, relax and feel you are part of a community.
