Description
It all started in 1927 when The Beverly opened as a 30-story hotel. Commissioned by Moses Ginsberg, designed by Emery Roth with Sylvan Bien and built in 1926-1927, the Beverly was promoted as an unusual residential hotel with wind-swept terraces to entertain in privacy. In 1997, Denihan Hospitality Group (Founded in 1963), a family-owned American hotel and hotel management company based in New York City, acquired The Beverly Hotel. Two years later, following a major renovation, they reopened the hotel as The Benjamin, to honor the company's founder, Benjamin J. Denihan. Today, The Benjamin hotel is a New York city Landmark and a luxury suite hotel home with celebrity Chef restaurant, The National.Frequently Asked Questions
