Habanero Blues

Bar & Restaurant $$

29 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018

Midtown Manhattan

Description

Veteran restaurateurs & Mexican food enthusiasts Keith Reichenbach and his brother Willy were surprised when they discovered there was no authentic Mexican eating experience to be found in Midtown NYC. Rather than complaint, however, the famous "Beer Brothers" took this as a challenge. The food & beverage specialists turned their prodigious energies toward work, focusing the cooking education gleaned from forays into the streets of Mexico City and Playa del Carmen into designing the dishes they craved to meet New York’s urgent need. Because authentic enchiladas, tacos, guacamole & margaritas also required an authentic setting, Habanero Blues was born. Here you can enjoy the sounds, sights and thrilling cuisine of Mexico City in an exciting atmosphere. Avail yourself of tantalizing cocktails, craft mezcal & tequila while snacking on the most authentic street style Mexican cooking in Manhattan. ¡Buen Provecho!
