Stephen E. Goldstone, MD

Stephen E. Goldstone, MD, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an assistant clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After graduating from college Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Goldstone enrolled in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. While there, he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. Dr. Goldstone completed a residency in General Surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and held the title of Chief Resident in General Surgery for the final two years of his training. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Goldstone was made the Assistant Director of Surgery at the Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He left his position in 1987 to open a private office in Manhattan. His private practice, Laser Surgery Care, is an anorectal surgical practice that specializes in the detection and treatment of precancerous lesions and warts caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). We also assess and treat other anorectal disorders, such as hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, and abscesses, and provide STD screening and treatment.
