Make Sandwich

Permanently Closed.. It started with a test. A tweak. An extension. The plan was simply to extend our Melt Shop menu with some lighter options. This consumed our focus, as it tends to do. We were inspired to push further. Do more. Add a layer. Take away an ingredient. It spread to the store. We started changing colors. Exploring materials. Testing samples. You see, it’s joy not work. It’s the fuel that moves us through our days. It’s the making that makes us…us.

In the end, we had an exciting new menu, an inspiring store design and a voice wanting to speak out loud. The problem was it wasn't us. Well, the Melt Shop us. It was something different. Something new. Something we needed to share. It was born from the making and that makes us happy.

Much like the smile you have when you are doing that thing you love. You know, the thing that makes hours pass like seconds. Keeps distractions locked up outside. Burns out lightbulbs and fills up hard drives. Ignores stomach rumblings and postpones obligations. Yeah, that thing.

That thing for us is a place you can hang out, eat well and take a break from the thing you do. A place you can make-your-own or enjoy what we’ve created. A place that sounds right, smells right, tastes right. A place that feels right. That place we call MAKE Sandwich.

We’re passionate makers. Sandwich makers. Really, really good sandwich makers. Because we don’t care about the amount of work we have to put in – we just care about the result.
