WELCOME and thank you for your interest in our 2nd annual 2021 Middle School Flag Football Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout to benefit LOVE HOLDS LIFE.
PLAYERS (boys & girls) from ALL towns are WELCOME!
This is a special and meaningful day symbolizing the Thanksgiving holiday that goes way beyond Flag Football. We are hosting a middle school tourney to benefit the mission of LOVE HOLDS LIFE.
Bring a team of 7-8 players to compete in a 1-day double-elimination tourney. Your team schedule will be released as we get closer to the tourney.
Players must currently be in either 6th, 7th or 8th grade only (grade as of SEPT 2021).
Players can either Register as part of a team (enter parent Coach name on Form), OR as an individual (and we will place you on a team). First-come-first-served basis.
Roster size: Minimum 7 - Maximum 8 players for the tourney.
Player fee: $40 (ALL proceeds will go directly to LOVE HOLDS LIFE).
Player fee includes all games, official TOURNEY winter hat, Refs, flag belts, awards and Field time. Games will be 35 minutes with quick halftime. Teams will be playing 5v5 on 50 yard field. Five downs to score (no first downs). Players will QB for each team with 1 running back and 4 receivers. No lineman.
Number of playoff teams will be decided by how many teams are entered in the tourney. This is a fairly competitive tourney with a mix of players with flag football experience and tackle experience. We try to keep games as even as possible, but please understand, that is only something we can control to an extent.
Both finalist teams will be awarded a team trophy and an individual trophy for each player !
WHO YOUR PARTICIPATION IS SUPPORTING: Love Holds Life (LHL) is a 501 (c)(3) national nonprofit organization.
Our mission is to support children and their families fighting cancer by providing monetary aid for medical expenses not covered by insurance. We support families on a national level from our offices located in New York.
