The French Heritage Society invites you to attend its Annual New York Gala Dinner Dance on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at The Plaza Hotel. This year, the exquisite, much anticipated black-tie affair will be festively themed The Black and Orange Ball.

Event Details

Guests are encouraged to wear masks and disguises.

An elegant dinner will be followed by music and dancing with Alex Donner and his orchestra. The cocktail hour will begin at 7pm with dinner beginning at 8pm. 250 guests are expected.

The event will honor French luxury lifestyle brand LALIQUE and its founder René Lalique. Celebrating their 130th anniversary in 2018, LALIQUE is internationally recognized as the ultimate symbol of French luxury.

The evening is organized under the gracious patronage of His Excellency Gérard Araud, Ambassador of France to the United States, His Excellency François Delattre, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations, and Mrs. Sophie L’Hélias-Delattre, Ms. Anne-Claire Legendre, Consul General of France in New York, and Mrs. Bénédicte de Montlaur, Cultural Counselor of the French Embassy in the United States.

All proceeds from the event support the important work of the French Heritage Society. FHS is dedicated to preserving the rich French architectural and cultural heritage, transmitting and safeguarding skills, knowledge and love of heritage through transatlantic educational programs, and fostering Franco-American friendship through cultural exchanges.
