Liar is an intimate, immersive performance; a hybrid between a social game, a party, and an art performance, meant to connect, challenge and lift the spirits after this long time of isolation, fear, division, and distrust.
PopUP Theatrics is a collaboration between theater artists Ana Margineanu and Tamilla Woodard, who have worked together since 2011 to create models of collaboration that engage artists worldwide in making intimate, site-specific projects.
The Center at West Park’s Evolution Festival and presentation of Liar is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
